Open sinus lift is a surgical method used to place implants in patients who lack sufficient bone height in the rear region of the upper jaw. The sinus floor is opened, graft material is placed, and bone volume is increased. This method is preferred especially in cases involving larger areas or severe bone loss.

The treatment process generally includes the following steps:
